Kacey Smith is one-of-a-kind. A small town girl with a big personality and a sense of humor to match, she’s chasing her country music dreams the only way she knows how – the Kacey Smith way.
Smith isn’t afraid to let her true self shine through, and that means she’ll never be a stylist’s gimmick. Fans can rest assured that every note, every word and every moment will be 100% Kacey Smith, not some plastic, whitewashed version of her.
Born and raised in rural Tennessee, Smith has been singing since she was young. Now she’s taking her music to the next level. With her days full of writing, recording, and performing, Smith is making her mark on country music.
In December 2010, she signed a publishing and management contract with Banner Music of Shelbyville/Nashville. Since then, she’s performed across the South, expertly crafting her show for each unique audience. With shows in Oklahoma, Missouri, Arkansas, Mississippi, Texas and Alabama, Smith has performed at venues such as Jack Daniel’s World Championship Invitational Barbecue, the Texas Songwriters Cruise, the St. Jude Radio/Cablethon, The Billy Block Show, the Nashville Humane Association’s Dog Day Festival and the world famous Bluebird Cafe. To top it all off, she is also pursuing a Music Business major at Middle Tennessee State University full-time.
Smith is quite the determined, driven soul, and you can be sure that’s going to take her places in the country music industry. In the blink of an eye, her music dreams will no longer classify as a dream – they will be a reality.
