Garth Brooks connects with fan battling cancer

Garth Brooks recently brought up a fan from the audience after seeing a sign that connected with the performer. Teresa Shaw has been battling stage 3 cancer since June of this year and she held up a sign at the concert that she attended with her daughter.

Brooks recently appeared on Entertainment Tonight to discuss the life-changing experience and share just how much meeting Shaw meant to him. But that’s not all that happened during Garth’s appearance on ET. The Mom singer was surprised with a face to face reunion with Shaw, as ET flew her out to meet with Brooks there on set. As Garth turned around, there was Teresa walking towards him, carrying the guitar he had given her that night in Minneapolis. What occurred was another heartfelt moment that we won’t soon forget.
